I don't know about the rest of you—but the heat this summer is nearly killing me! I can barely be outside for 15 minutes before my feet start to swell and I get completely drenched in my own sweat. For this reason, I searched for a shoe with a lower heel this week. The last thing I want to do in the morning is squeeze my poor, tired, swollen feet into a five-inch heel!
For anyone who's never tried on a Cole Haan shoe, let me assure you, they are some of the most comfortable shoes you can invest in. Even the high-heeled Cole Haan's I own never blistered my feet. So, while I will always recommend the brand as a whole, I suppose I still have to narrow it down to one this week.
Cole Haan's Mara Thong is my weekly winner. These chic thong sandals, pictured in blush satin (they also come in black), will give your feet a much needed rest with their measly two inch heel. Both the insole and the upper shoe are made of buttery leather and that oh so glorious leather-wrapped sock lining is what makes these shoes so gosh-darn comfortable! With an adorable metal logo ornamentation on the side of the shoe, these can be worn casually with jeans or dressed up for a night out!
